Hafez Al Assad and Bush were not friends that is humorous considering Syria has been under attack by US since Eisenhower. Hafez did however think Bush would be fair when it came to reining in Israel. US hates communism more than anything of course because they are fascist and they were terrified of Syrian populism under Assad.
I am a great admirer of both Hafez Al Assad and Bashar as you know so I disagree with the propaganda being overwhelming heaped onto their characters to defame them. However, that is what US does even though it is the number one terrorist nation in the world, defame others as they kill with impunity. US has a straw boss figure head perceived as their president. Anyone can plainly see this when they claim a walking corpse as the commander in chief for the last four years. Now the US is being diplomatic with a takfir terrorist stronghold they empowered in Syria and calling it a democracy, just like their terrorist proxy Israel.
As far as Bashar we do not even know if he is truly alive so acting like he was the Shah of Iran who made off with billions of Iran's finances is uncalled for. He lived like any ordinary person contrary to the propaganda.
Regardless I appreciate the insight into Putin. I have always felt that Russia coming to the aid of Syria was a double edged sword. Yes, they helped Syria but it was Soleimani who defeated ISIS. Putin left terrorist strongholds in Syria instead of finishing the job in 2018 with the complicity of snowflake Rouhani from Iran. It was just a matter of time before they were used against the Syrian people. Syria was never allowed to defend herself from Israel after Russia stepped in. In Ukraine he did not finish the job in 2014 and left the Donbass to be slaughtered by Nazis for the next 8 years. I am not one of these people that think Putin is a 3d chess player. Russia has always stated that Oct 7th was a terrorist attack not the prison break it actually was. Who killed Raisi? Why is no one answering that and instead covering it up?
Erdogan is also a Zionist tool who has some kind of hold over Russia as they compete for the Caucasus. I do not quite understand the relationship. I do know I can not tolerate Erdogan who is an actual terrorist with big dreams of fame.
Thanks for your own insightful input, Carina, I tremendously appreciate it. I certainly lack background knowledge about Hafez al-Assad, so you definitely know more about his rule than I do, and EIR indeed has its analytical imperfections from time to time. To my admission, time was running out for me to dig up additional "background" info on the Assads, so I tended to consult EIR as the primary default on geopolitical history in the "conspiratorial" dimension of identifying clandestine culprits, (relatively) genuine resistance, and British stringpuller networks. (for context, all of EIR's info on Bashar al-Assad I could find was from the 2010s, and their material after the 2000s has lacked the unique "expose" material they always published in their heyday when LaRouche himself was clearly active and influential; all their negative coverage BTW previously was against Hafez, not Bashar, AFAI remember from Friday morning digging)
Absolutely agreed on Turkey and Russia. Once again, thank you for reading this analysis of mine and sharing your thoughts, Carina.
Most welcome Emmanuel, thank you for the additional information on Russia. I do not blame you one bit for the lack of information on the Assad family. Nearly all of it has been deleted from online like the West always does with information they do not want known. I have become a little wiser and started downloading information as PDFs now.
On Bashar, he was not intended to be in politics till Israel eliminated his older brother in a "car accident". The Zionist network thought Bashar would be a weak ruler. They were wrong. It was not until Russia put the knife in his back that Syria fell. Just one week before his disappearance he gave this speech.
Okay, that explains a TON; no wonder Bashar has a considerably "quiet" personality evident in the interviews. Perhaps he just genuinely tried to fix the Syria mess only to get caught up in a web of dependent manipulation until recently, when he decided he was going to retire from the chaos he initially did not "intend" on entangling into at the first place.
Plus, since EIR's "older" articles focus on castigating Hafez and not Bashar, I suppose the actual suspecting case against Bashar individually is rather weak to begin with, so thank you for your patient clarification, Carina.
Speaking of Russia, I *just* finished an expose unveiling Putin's sinister duplicity and almost-certain allegiances. As to Kremlin-HTS ties, I'll look into that promptly. Thank you as always!
You are most welcome thank you! I will go read your new expose.
Just a few more points on Putin and the HTS.
The orders for the Syrian Army to stand down came from the Russian Central command and on Dec 8 Russia was flying the HTS flag. There is also this new article that supports the information I have been gathering by investigation.
It’s well known Putin and Netanyahu are on personally amicable terms . In the broader Neo Templar context - Israel is able to serve the interests of the western elites AND the interests of the Slavic Christian interests of the holy land .
How long the Jews will be allowed to dominate once their primary role of bridge head into Muslim lands is achieved is anyone’s guess .
The Reconquest of the Middle East is in full swing now.

One week later he was gone and Russia welcomed HTS. As far as him escaping to Russia, they have not proven to anyone he is still actually alive.
