Sabbath study, x: how Medo-Persia served as a typifying predecessor of the United States
Revelatory parallelism to consider.
There is—I’m “sorry” to inform you—nothing new under the sun.1
What, you thought the so-called “United States of America” is an atrocity lacking precedent? It is certainly a no-brainer to any cognition-capable human observer by this point in time that the “U.S.”—as defined as an empirical syndicate of expansionist maximalists—is an undisputed regime of perdition and never-ending evil, namely evident in the current satanically instigated war against Iran entailing the horrendous mass murders of innocent human lives on top of the ongoing massacres against the innocent people of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan et al.
At the same time, this does not mean that the U.S. became this way out of an organic vacuum from nowhere, as if this was some plausibly “preventable” trajectory. Far from that reductionist common perceptual lens, the reality is very inexplicably clear that the U.S. is following a blueprint whose implementation was manifested already in the ancient case example of Medo-Persia’s rise and fall.
Let’s study the second half of Revelation ch. 13 bit by bit! First off:2
And I saw another beast coming up out of the land, and it had two horns, like a lamb…
Because I’m not diving into an extensive study of the first half, the quick and simple summary here is that the first half of the vision unmasks the modus operandi of the imperial Roman Empire’s mortal wound and “transformation” a la “phoenix rising out of the ashes” into the papal Roman confederacy, which ruled for 1,260 prophetic days a.k.a. literal years3 spanning 538-1798 A.D., and that the second beast rises out of the “land” (remember, this imagery is in the context of revelatory vision, so it’s not meant to be understood literally) at the same period when the first beast went into captivity at the end of the 1,260 years.
Now, what does it mean that this peculiar beast ascends out of “the land”? First off, it is plainly stated in the context of biblical prophetic imagery that a beast represents a kingdom,4 so obviously it is a particular politico-civic empirical entity. (you probably can already guess what it is, but before I confirm it, I will show you the solid evidence demonstrably proving why it is so)
In Daniel 7 and Rev. 13:1-10, the beasts are depicted as ascending out of the sea, whereas the lamb-like beast of Rev. 13:11-18 is described as rising out of the earth or “land.” In biblical prophetic imagery, sea is tautological to waters because the “sea” is simply the collection of waters,5 and the latter is explained by an angel later in Revelation as (symbolically) “peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”6 Meanwhile, the “earth” or land was understood since ancient Old Testament times as reflective of the abode of God’s covenant people,7 such that symbolically speaking the difference between “land” and “sea” respectively corresponded to the separateness between God’s appointed people of the covenant and the uncircumcised (in heart8) multitudes and nations who rejected the offer to be grafted into the covenant.
In antitype, God’s covenant people would of course be the pious apostolicity-seeking Christians in truth and spirit who comprise the “land” whereas the rest of humanity’s multitudes who situate outside acceptation of the gospel comprise the “sea.” Therefore, when the apostle John witnessed a beast rising out of the “land,” he saw none other than a political-civic entity ascending out of an area inhabited—at the time—by relatively pious Christians.
Now, what to make of the fact that this particular beast a.k.a. kingdom is defined by two horns “as a lamb”? It is important to assess for concision sake that a horn in biblical prophetic imagery represents a king or otherwise a faction heralded by some individually denoted chieftain/leader.9 Therefore, whatever this particular beast/kingdom is, it is defined from its inception as comprising two factions.
The sole biblical precedent here is Medo-Persia: in the vision Daniel the Prophet received as recorded in Daniel 8—where the heavenly angel Gabriel explicitly told the prophet exactly what the symbolic imagery meant—Daniel saw a ram possessing two horns,10 and Gabriel stated the objective interpretation of the meaning: the two horns represented the Median and Persia factions comprising the Medo-Persian kingdom.11
As a background contextual summary: in ancient Medo-Persia, the two empirical factions initially operated as co-regents, but eventually became known primarily as a de facto Persian empire where the Medes were integrated within a Persian complex.
The U.S. follows in the same footsteps as its prototype: it began initially as a politically bifurcated nation between the “Federalist” “pro-centralization” (think of them as the Persian element) and “Anti-Federalist” “pro-states’-rights” (think of them as the Median element) factions, but over time, the pro-centralization/Federalist faction became the undisputed face of the U.S. while the “states’ rights” element was simply integrated into a centralized hegemony.
The two horns upon the lamb-like beast that John witnessed, therefore, can be understood objectively as representing the Federalist and Anti-Federalist initial “co-regents” which eventually morphed into the Federalist/centralization consolidated faction catapulting its ideology into the governmental helm as the “confederation” aspect of “states’ rights” became integrated.

…and it was speaking as a dragon…
This means of course that the second beast of Rev. 13, despite outwardly appearing to be “lamb-like” a.k.a. superficially adorning a Christian appearance (since “lamb” in biblical symbolism points to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God13 without blemish14), would actually behave like Satan (since the dragon represents Satan15).
And the U.S.—duh!—fits the bill perfectly. From the British-inspired Scottish Rite Freemasonic white supremacist imposition of slavery against Africans to the Trail of Tears genocide of Native Americans to the Freemasonic KKK normalization of the 1920s to the propping up of Hitler in the 1930s to imperialist regime change and unending war crimes one after another from Korea to Vietnam to Laos to Yugoslavia to Afghanistan to Iraq to Syria to Yemen to Palestine to Sudan et al. et al., not to mention its internal national culture of fascistic degeneracy, systematic misogyny, and deliberate COINTELPRO cultivation of self-destructive behaviors amongst ethnic minority communities to break them apart and justify racist discrediting tropes against them on top of MKULTRA brainwash campaigns- do I need to continue?
Cont.:16
…and all the authority of the first beast doth it do before it, and it makes the land and those dwelling in it that they shall bow before the first beast, whose deadly stroke was healed…
In a nutshell, the second beast—the United States—will execute the full scale of maximalist-assuming power that the papal Roman Empire operated under the auspices of during the 1,260 years of persecution of God’s covenant people. The second beast will wield such power to enforce those in the “land” a.k.a. so-called “Christendom” to worship the first beast, and the text repeats the fact already mentioned in the first half of Rev. 13 that the first beast’s wound was healed. Since the first beast’s deadly wound was imposed in 476 A.D. and 538 A.D., it was over a millennia before the events of the second beast ascending into the limelight as the satanic enforcer. Why then is this mentioned as if it’s important to highlight?
In a nutshell: expect the U.S. to follow in the footsteps of ancient Rome, a.k.a. its current empirical form will “collapse” and seemingly suffer a mortal wound into a “national collapse” phase of preplanned anarchy, and then it will “resurrect” as a “phoenix rising out of the ashes” into a whole new and far more theocratically horrifying orientation than it is currently is.
More on this another time.
Cont.:17
…and it doth great signs, that fire also it may make to come down from the heaven to the earth before men, and it leads astray those dwelling on the land, because of the signs that were given it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling upon the land to make an image to the beast that hath the stroke of the sword and did live.
Of course, I explained before what this means: the U.S. as the chief Zionist-Masonic dispensationalist a.k.a. “Christian Zionist” empirical propagator promotes a bogus view of Zech. 13:8-9 and Ezekiel 38-39 through a hyper-literalized ethnocentric lens, and then stages a seeming fulfillment of its own manufactured prophecy by setting up a mutual annihilation scenario between genocidal Zionists and the Arab-Islamic world in such a way that it can claim the incoming “WWIII” scenario to be a “fulfillment of [their distorted misinterpretation of] biblical prophecy.”
[okay, fine, as a mid-post disclaimer: in all honesty, this post is a bit more of a hurried rant compared to the previous sabbath studies—please pardon my temporally impulsively unstable personality, as a number of irritations, disappointments, or otherwise nonstop causes for sorrow have met unfortunate intercalating convergence recently]
Now, let’s primarily focus here and now—because the majority of you reading are likely not prepared for the full doozy of comprehensive details (yet)—on v. 11 of Revelation chapter 13.
Among the oracles God gave to Jeremiah to preach unto the then-apostate children of Judah, there is this notable passage:18
Therefore smitten them hath a lion out of the forest, A wolf of the deserts doth spoil them, A leopard is watching over their cities, Every one who is going out of them is torn, For many have been their transgressions, Mighty have been their backslidings!
Notice the ordering here of referenced (contextually symbolic, not literal) animals:
lion
wolf
leopard
Simple and understood? Excellent! let’s now consider Daniel 7:19
…and four great beasts are coming up from the sea, diverse one from another.
The first [is] like a lion, and it hath an eagle’s wings. I was seeing till that its wings have been plucked, and it hath been lifted up from the earth, and on feet as a man it hath been caused to stand, and a heart of man is given to it.
And behold! another beast, a second, like to a bear, and to the same authority it hath been raised, and three ribs [are] in its mouth, between its teeth, and thus they are saying to it, Rise, consume much flesh.
After this I was seeing, and behold! another like a leopard, and it hath four wings of a fowl on its back, and four heads hath the beast, and dominion is given to it.
Notice the ordering here:
lion
bear
leopard
And of course, the meaning of the Dan. 7 vision is the following:
lion = Babylon
bear = Medo-Persia
leopard = Greece
Is it a pure coincidence that the structural format appears strikingly parallel to the description in Jeremiah 5? Probably not. The real question of course is why Medo-Persia is never explicitly referred to as a wolf and that this deduction is only possible by connecting the dots of Hebrew parallelism between the prophetic oracles, seeing that Medo-Persia is portrayed as a bear in Dan. 7 and as a ram in Dan. 8.
A ram, of course, is simply a male sheep. And note that the second beast of Rev. 13—the United States—is likened from its inception unto the appearance of a lamb, a.k.a. a young sheep—oh. Wolf… sheep… is something clicking?
Let’s review just very real quick what the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ warned:20
But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep’s clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves.
Note, by the way, that the second beast of Rev. 13 is referred to later in the Revelation narrative as the False Prophet.21
The Medo-Persian typification of the United States is therefore demonstrably substantiated through a careful study of the parallel correspondences and recapitulation framework: ancient Medo-Persia began as a lamb-like entity but towards its late-stage empirical phase became more of a wolf in sheep’s clothing as it attempted to magnify its expansionist endeavors unto ultimate collapse and defeat at the hands of Alexander the Great22—it has been interpreted after all that Xerxes I—identified with the king Ahasuerus of the Book of Esther—raised taxes23 to compensate for his failed expansionist ambition against Greece.
Medo-Persia, of course, functioned as a type and therefore is not the exact same down to the fullest manifested culmination as its antitype, the United States, because the shadow points to the substance and is not the substance itself. Nonetheless, it provided the blueprint that the U.S. empirical hegemony executes with far greater ruthlessness to a worse extent of specific depravities than its predecessor. Medo-Persia ultimately collapsed at the hands of Alexander the Great, who is indicatively hinted in Zechariah 9 as (at least in a partial sense) typifying Jesus;24—just as Alexander destroyed Medo-Persia, so too Jesus Christ at the Parousia destroy the False Prophet a.k.a. the USAian hegemony along with all the human children of perdition who remain alive to suffer the consequences of their crimes against God.
Note carefully that the Rev. 13 narrative says that the second beast has two horns as a lamb, a.k.a. as if it were a lamb, a.k.a. it is NOT literally a Christ-like entity and NEVER was founded as one, only taking the outward appearance of one, indicating tacitly that it was really established to be set up all along as a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
So to connect the dots together:
the U.S. rises out of the “land” a.k.a. out of a then-mostly-pious-Christian region, having two horns as if it were a lamb…
..whose precedent is Medo-Persia, described in Daniel 8 as a male sheep with two horns, and which is also…
…described in Daniel 7 as a bear in the context of a lion → bear → leopard sequence respectively representing Babylon → Medo-Persia → Greece…
…a recapitulation of the Jeremiah 5 description of lion → wolf → leopard, hinting that Medo-Persia both takes the verbatim visualized encapsulation of a sheep, and yet is also a wolf…
…which fits perfectly into Jesus’s warning about wolves in sheep’s clothing, the characteristic of false prophets…
…which the second beast of Rev. 13—the United States—is described as, and not only merely “a” false prophet, but the ultimate False Prophet
In the end, you’re either on the side of the true Elijah that affirms the heavens are higher than the earth,25 or you will end up on the side of the false Elijah a.k.a. the satanic global confederation encompassing the mass majority of the world that presumptuously asserts its earthly standing to be higher than the heavens. Guess which side is not going to emerge triumphant at the Second Coming!
And heaven departed as a scroll rolled up, and every mountain and island—out of their places they were moved; and the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chiefs of thousands, and the mighty, and every servant, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens, and in the rocks of the mountains, and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, ‘Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him who is sitting upon the throne, and from the anger of the Lamb, because come did the great day of His anger, and who is able to stand?’ —Revelation 6:14-17
