Debunking the Zionazi abuse of ‘I will bless those who bless you’
Because this repetitive canard is truly as obnoxious as it is false.
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
—Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
What does this passage mean? If you ask the founder of Toilet Paper USA,1 or the obese (white supremacist acolyte2) head of CUFI,3 or the Orange Bolshevist excuse of a congressman from Georgia who brought it up to a university head at a neo-McCarthyite witchhunt “hearing,”4 it means that anyone who does not bless the en masse Jewish people will automatically incur wrath from Almighty God. Never mind that the majority of Jewry rejects Jesus Christ. Or that the majority of modern self-identified “Jews” support the neo-Nazi puppet regime of “Ukraine.”5 Or that they stand in diehard solidarity with the Fourth Reich as proudly boasted by one of their own darling right-wing racist6 “advocacy” groups.7 Or that most of them aren’t even adherents of Judaism8… the very thing that defines Jewry to begin with. Do I need to continue?
Rants aside, let’s address the central question: does Genesis 12:3 have anything to do with supporting the modern State of Israel lest one face damnation by Jehovah?
The answer is no. For those of you uninterested in reading the full theological unraveling, or may simply lack the time, or whatever, the short explanation here is that the “Christian Zionists” are misapplying the subject matter of God’s promise because they incorrectly (and lazily) interpret biblical prophecy and neglect type/antitype; more specifically, they ignore that the literal Jewish nation from the time of Jacob into 34 A.D. only served as a shadow for the apostolic Christian church.
The seed of Abraham
Before I immediately touch on this topic, let’s look at a parallel promise in Genesis:9
And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
After the Apostles Peter and John healed a man by the power of Christ at the gate of the Temple to the amazement of the nearby Judeans, Peter exhorted them:10
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
So first and foremost, the main aspect of the blessing as part of the promise is the internal cleansing of an individual from sin and evildoing. Now, let’s understand more about Abraham’s seed:1112
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
So what is the seed of Abraham? According to the Apostle Paul, it is Jesus Christ and His followers—apostolic Christians redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God.
Romans quotemining, pt. I
One pervasively common Zionist tactic is to appropriate select excerpts from Paul’s letter to the Romans. This is one snippet passage they cite the beginning of ch. 11:13
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.
This is interpreted to mean that God has an irrevocably eternal covenant with the (literal) Jewish people en masse and that they are still a “chosen people” by “race.” Now, note that in this passage, Paul did NOT say that God’s people constitutes the entire Jewish nation. Let’s keep reading Romans 11:14
Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Paul is quoting the cry of Elijah in I Kings 19 against the apostasy of Israel in the days of Ahab, and God’s response was—as Paul summarizes—that a remnant of faithful Jews remain. Not anywhere close to the entire nation, but only a fraction. Cont.:15
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
So here, Paul clearly—as plain as daylight—distinguishes between the literal nation of Israel (who Zionists say are the subject of the blessing), which he says has NOT obtained what was sought after, and that “the rest”—excluding the remnant—“were blinded.” Note what Paul says is the condition for the Jews to be part of the chosen:16
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
Making sense? The Jewish people as a nation ungrafted themselves from being God’s chosen by crucifying their own Messiah and the Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and their only hope of being God’s chosen (again) is to be cleansed of their sins by repentance and faith in the shed blood of Christ.
Romans quotemining, pt. II
There’s another passage commonly misunderstood:17
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
“All Israel shall be saved.” Does this mean that the entire Jewish people will be redeemed, every last individual? Obviously not. If anyone’s actually read all sixteen chapters of the Epistle to the Romans, it should be clear that there’s two “Israels” Paul is referring to. Let’s look at this seemingly contradictory passage:18
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
So which is it? Is Israel assuredly all going to be saved, or is it that they only “might” be saved and thereby is in need of Paul’s prayer to God? The only answer to this contradiction is that Paul uses the term “Israel” with two possible definitions (discernable based on examination of context): one is in reference to the literal Jewish nation, and the other to the true, antitypical, “spiritual” Israel, aka the Christian church. Consider this:19
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
IOWs, Paul is saying that not every Jew in the literal nation of Israel is of the true spiritual Israel of God, and more than blatantly says that just because they’re ethnic Jews by bloodline does not mean they’re truly the children of God. How do we know what that the true Israel is the church? Because:20
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
When the (literal) Jews ceased being God’s chosen
The angel Gabriel declared to the prophet Daniel:21
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Now, in prophetic terms, a day corresponds in reality to a literal year,22 and the seventy-week prophecy spanned 457 B.C.—34 A.D. In the year 34 A.D., the Jewish Christian Stephen was stoned by the Jewish authorities who “stopped their ears” and utterly rejected—as they did for centuries—their own prophets’ exhortations to repent and turn to God.23 Later in 70 A.D., Jerusalem was destroyed by General Titus’s Roman army—the Second Temple eternally perished. As Christ said to the Judeans, “your house is left unto you desolate.”24
Old Testament Judaism necessitates sacrifices under a Temple, and the Jewish people have been without a God-ordained Temple for nearly two millennia. The Epistle to the Hebrews explains the fulfillment of Mosaic Judaism in Christ:25
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
The high priests in the Levitical sacrificial system were only a typological shadow pointing to the true high priest, the Son of God, the “author of eternal salvation.”26 And the fellow priests of God are the apostolic Christians who made a decision to repent in Christ unto salvation.27 Paul the Apostle said in the Spirit of God:28
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
IOWs, it’s apostolic Christians who are the real Jews, not Fourth Reich citizens.
Conclusion
The truth according to the Scriptures is overwhelmingly pervasive: God’s promises are to any individual (regardless of race/ethnicity) who trust in Him and keep His commandments.29 And I could do a whole post documenting all the Torah/Mitzvot rules which the Zionist majority of modern Jewry are violating!
