Wow Emmanuel! There’s a lot to digest here. The logic of your argument in this article is difficult to refute against the history of Roman/Papal involvement in the region from the Crusades onwards but also from even before the crusades. I’m usually very sceptical of analyses of current events that presuppose a grand conspiracy spanning centuries. But there are some aspects of what you’ve written that would perfectly explain some pieces of the puzzle that have been unresolved for me when I look at things taking place now and in the past from different perspectives and disciplines. Certainly there is a consistent identifiable historical trend of the Papacy being consistently involved one way or another in various major developments in this part of the world.

By the way I wonder what you might think of Opus Dei?
