I do ponder any controlmind... Irrespective of initial conditions, any structure that gives power to Some over Others for any reason other than the People over any Ones who choose unEthical behavior, WILL devolve over time.
Thus I see Us ALL having "authority" over Any who choose unEthical behavior (break any of the three Laws). Beyond that, no One has "authority."

Yeah, I think I broadly see where you're coming from, Amaterasu. Definitely concur on the first part: hierarchies prioritizing pure elite self-gain devolve into Jesuitic cesspools of "end justifies the means" casuistry very quickly.
As I may or may not have exchanged my thoughts on this matter to you before, it's not so much that I disagree with the ideal vision of ridding humanity from unnecessary rulers, more so that the few of us capable of living apart from strictly enforced systematic Herodian dictates are just that: the few. The only circumstance I see in which those few of us can as an "ideologically" bound grouping all escape the abhorrent decadence of the world and demonstrate the ability to live peacefully with one another apart from the governments of this planet is when the mark of the beast is enforced and those of us refusing to take it are either executed or are living in remote hiding detached from all technology. That of course is in the scenario of the final new world order dystopian culmination, as the sword we're dealing with here is a double-edged one.
While I agree that that is Their final goal, I suggest that when We have obsoleted Their single tool to power, there will be virtually no point in breaking the Laws of Ethics. The Few who might choose to because They are psychopaths will be the Few. And petty criminals, unable to buy the People to do Their dirty work.
And it really does not matter what group (“Jesuitic,” etc.) is “in power. The Ones who will truly rule, overtly or covertly, will be psychopaths. That power draws Them like feces draw flies.
All governments are hierarchies. All hierarchies are authoritarian. Therefore all governments are authoritarian. "Society", which doesn't actually exist, can be " organized" horizontally.
