Against Orange Bolshevism! [op-ed]
And this coming from an ex-mangomonger.
When MAGA Communism at some point in time became an actual thing, it was downright hilarious watching the confused idiot catechumen of society, clueless about the workings of historical realities they couldn’t bother grasping, view the movement as a bizarre syncretism of polar opposite ideologies. But I strongly beg to differ with the mainstream narrative; “MAGA Communism” is 95–99% the exact same ideology as MAGA, only rebranded into openly self-admitted Bolshevism.
The populist politics of Donald Trump from its inception were never conservative, and Orange Caesar himself just a month ago admitted so himself. “Left” and “right” as political concepts originated in the French Revolution, where radical “anti-establishment” populists were the left and reactionary aristocratic monarchists comprised the right. By this very definitive nature, it’s obvious that core machinations of MAGA are nothing more than a revival of “old” leftism merely syncretized and rebranded as “right-wing populism.”
The blue-collar heart of the Midwest in 2008 and ’12 voted for the socialist B. Hussein Obama II and for Orange Caesar in 2016. In 2008, Iowa overwhelmingly reelected its longtime left-wing Comsymp Democratic senator Tom Harkin; in 2016 and 2020, Iowa swung for Trump. From 2006 to 2018, the state’s second congressional district continuously re-elected Dave Loebsack, a member of the Communistic “Congressional Progressive Caucus,” and in 2016 witnessed a significant portion of ticket-splitters for both Trump and Loebsack. Ohio’s northwestern Toledo section has been represented in the U.S. House by leftist Democrat Marcy Kaptur since 1983, and in 2020 narrowly favored Trump by a few percentage points just as Kaptur trounced her GOP opponent by a whopping margin of 26 points. IOWs, the Midwest working-class split tickets in support of both Trump and left-wing Democrats. Since they’re “normally” aligned with Democratic politics and thus their pro-Trump lean constitutes a blatant aberration, it’s really not that difficult of a conclusion: Trump himself is a socialistic-Bolshevist leftist by nature, and thus he appeals to the very supporters of far-left Democratic congressional Comsymps.
Traditional American conservatism, best embodied by the politics of the “Old Right” whose cause was carried by libertarians like Robert A. Taft and Raymond C. Hoiles, was opposed to “big government.” Meanwhile, Trump and his Bolshevist supporters favor increased government action observed as tantamount to socialism. When warmonger Nikki Haley suggested cuts to Socialist Security, The King Of Mar-a-Lago™ seized the opportunity to excoriate Haley from the left. And Windmillphobe is, in summary, nothing more than the Huey Long of the 21st century. I could probably continue, but this will just have to be a lazily half-collated excuse of a screed… for now.
What about alt-right extremist support for Trump? Sometime later I’ll explain the Communistic and neo-Marxist origin of modern neo-Nazi ideology, whether it concerns abortion, eugenics, anti-capitalism, accelerationism, vanguardism, etc.
